As part of promoting entrepreneurial spirit and scientific innovation within universities, the Higher School of Biological Sciences of Oran (ESSBO) has established the Entrepreneurship Development Center (CDE). This center is part of a national initiative aimed at strengthening the ties between the university and the economic sector. In collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-Enterprises, the CDE-ESSBO provides students with a conducive environment to develop and realize their innovative projects.
The CDE offers training programs, support, and mentoring, thus facilitating the transition of innovative ideas into thriving businesses.
The ESSBO's Entrepreneurship Development Center aims and missions are to:
1. **Raise Awareness and advise:**
Organize activities to raise awareness among students with innovative projects and provide them with entrepreneurial advice.
2. **Train:**
Establish specialized training sessions covering the fundamental principles of entrepreneurship, business creation and management, strategic planning, operational and resource management, the Business Model Canvas (BMC), company relationships with its partners, financing methods, and government support mechanisms.
3. **Support:**
Provide personalized support for obtaining funding, with the help of specialized facilitators, in alignment with the new approach of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development (NESDA).
4. **Support the Entrepreneur:**
Collaborate with various partners to support entrepreneurs within the framework of value chain development and subcontracting programs.
